Honestly, I was quite skeptical as I first saw the unofficial FarmVille guide popped up, the FarmVille Secrets by Tony Sanders. It's all because I'd never really played this online game but just from looking at its cover and the title I assumed there couldn't be all that much to it. I was thinking, how much strategy could probably go into building a virtual farm? But after seeing this guide, I realized it would be worth taking a serious look at the game to find out what all the hullabaloo could probably be about.

Oh yes, I was really very surprised! Building my own virtual farm was much more exciting than I'd thought it would be. Maybe because there are a lot of Options existing in this online game to choose from in building your own virtual farm. The more I played FarmVille, the more I realized that there probably might be a bunch of useful information in this unofficial FarmVille guide since there were really too many ways you could play.

I was getting more and more interested about what I might be missing out while playing this online game. After I reached level 13 and was having a hard time getting farther, I decided to give this unofficial FarmVille guide a shot. Do You Really Need A FarmVille Mastery Guide?

I'm moderately educated in the latest generation of social networking online games like Mafia Wars, Vampire Wars, etc. That's why when I first saw a FarmVille mastery guide online I was kind of surprised. I mean, I can tell why players might need several tips to get going in games like Mafia Wars, but FarmVille?

At this time though I hadn't really played the game, but I didn't really think it may well be all that complicated. I figured I must give it a shot though, simply so that I may possibly say I knew what I was talking about. And I was in for a great shock. In a short period, I was out of cash and had no crops to plant. I have to admit, there is more to this game than I had expected.

I managed to dig myself out of my initial hole and out of the red, but I still wasn't making all that much progress. I wasn't really expecting much, but since I hadn't made so well on my own either, I figured it was worth a shot.

You wouldn't think there were so many ways you could screw up a virtual farm, but believe me, you definitely can. I was still stumbling along at Level 6 when I got the guide after 2 weeks of playing regularly. Now I'm the proud owner of a plantation at Level 60. I still look back at my FarmVille mastery guide from time to time. If you're having difficulty getting into the swing of things in FarmVille, FarmVille Secrets is not a bad investment.
